On May 6, we had our fourth First Tuesday event in Tallinn. The offices of PRnews․io hosted over 100 company leaders, business experts, institutional stakeholders, and purposeful investors. We had a great mixture of positive people from all over Europe. And, what a great networking it was !
Inspiring conversation starters
Three guests gave their input for the networking conversations. Annika Albert, HR at Scoro Software, gave a crystal-clear vision on how they recruit and onboard an international hybrid team, based on core values. Also Marco Evolini, business developer of Markit, and Kateryna Mykhaylova CEO of Mergewise, brought inspiring stories about how hybrid teams can drive an international business to success. And, that lead to an even more inspiring Q&A from and with the audience.
Great new business contacts
Although our loyal fanbase is growing, still the majority of the participants attended our event for the first time. Our industry focus adds business leaders from specific sectors. So there are always new people in the room. That also creates a great mixture of contacts for our recurring participants. This time we focused on the digital industry. Next time, in June, the food & agri industry will be featured. Many of the participants spontaneously mentioned they got a lot of new contacts on the event.
Real business conversations
Two focus rooms were added for a more focused meet-up with the two main business activities of ImpactBuilders, ImpactBuilders Industry and the venture studio ImpactBuilders Studio. The studio gathered people who are passionate about apps, AI, e-commerce and marketplaces. Sven Tigane created a constructive atmosphere, allowing all attendants to exchange ideas and lay the foundations for a future cooperation. In the Industry room, we initiated a potential partnership for Europe with a major Estonian IT services provider.
Co-creation with many partners
The event is the result of a growing number of partners, who invited their network contacts. Kateryna Levkovska from the Ukrainian Business Club made it clear that they are actively sharing the First Tuesday events with their membership. Also the Ukrainian Ambassador Maksym Kononenko, was happy to be able to support our vision and network. Thanks also to the Estonian Chamber of Commerce in Switzerland (ECCS) and the Estonian chapter of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). And, of course to our co-hosting partner PRnews․io !
Next “First Tuesday” about purposeful business on June 3
The next First Tuesday will take place on 3 June. The specific challenge we will talk about is whether an international company needs to be more purposeful to be successful abroad.
