We are proud to announce the first ambassadors to the advisory board of ImpactBuilders Industry: Peter Leyman and Martin Kõdar. Their combined experience brings both the industrial and financial perspectives that are essential for making turnarounds work in practice.
Representing two countries, two worlds of industry
- Peter Leyman, former Managing Director of Volvo Belgium, adds decades of leadership in manufacturing and classic industries. His expertise will help us understand operational challenges and design realistic transformation paths.
- Martin Kõdar, Partner of Baltcap, the largest Private Equity firm in the Baltics. He brings the investor’s lens. His knowledge of what makes companies attractive to investors will be key in preparing our portfolio companies for future ownership.
How they contribute
As ambassadors, Peter and Martin will:
- Provide feedback on our analysis of target companies, helping us avoid repeating the mistakes they’ve seen in their own careers.
- Provide feedback on our turnaround plans, ensuring they are robust, implementable, and attractive to future investors.
- Endorse our brand and services, reinforcing our credibility with industry leaders and investment partners.
Understanding success KPIs for turnarounds
We are grateful for their commitment and will kick off their participation with an open brainstorm at First Tuesday Tallinn in September. One of the focus rooms will focus on the succession challenges in family-owned businesses. This focus room will bring together business leaders, investors, and equity brokers. It will also connect Italian and Flemish peers online.
Next, Peter and Martin will continue their involvement in ImpactBuilders Industry during a series of closed-door meetings on the key indicators of industrial change, guiding companies toward private equity readiness. Thank you, Peter and Martin for your expertise and support.
