Last Friday, we had the pleasure of meeting the new Belgian ambassador for Finland and Estonia, Karel Tousseyn, in Tallinn for an introductory meeting.

With Finland growing in international relevance, and Estonia playing an increasingly strategic role in Europe’s economic and digital fabric, it’s valuable to have a direct and constructive connection with our Belgian diplomatic presence in the region.

Ambassador Tousseyn expressed his appreciation for the First Tuesday initiative, and for our ongoing efforts to represent Belgian entrepreneurship and values within the Estonian and wider international business community.

“It’s good to see a Belgian entrepreneur taking the lead in connecting businesses across Europe,” said Ambassador Tousseyn, underlining the importance of cross-border initiatives in today’s geopolitical and economic landscape.

He looks forward to participating in one of the upcoming editions of the First Tuesday event series and meeting the international business leaders in our network — and we appreciate his engagement as a valuable connection for future collaboration.
