ImpactBuilders continues its mission to connect East and West. Across Europe, there are great opportunities for collaboration in digital development. Estonia is the European leader in digital government, standing out in areas such as e-governance, education, and e-health. Flanders definitely is also among the top players in Europe. So both regions have a lot to gain from working together on the next generation of digital public services and cross-border data exchange.

On 23 October, a major conference and expo took place at Flanders Expo, bringing together Flemish authorities, government departments, research centers, academic institutions, and ICT suppliers. The central theme was artificial intelligence — the driving force behind the next wave of public digital transformation.

Founder Jan Lagast attended the event to start building new bridges between Flanders and Estonia, fostering future collaboration between both regions in Europe’s digital landscape.
