Gunnar Valge is now the CIO of the Nordic private equity group ELG, specialised in yarns and textile production and distribution. He ensures the IT systems of all the ELG portfolio companies are running smoothly. Getting SAP/R4 HANA fully operational, is one of his recent accomplishments.

Over the past years he has been in various tech management and business management roles in large organisations, mid-size companies, and even startups. “Although I consider myself a real ‘techie’, I always tried hard to make machines work for people,” says Gunnar. So, it does not come as a surprise that he is a firm believer in the Future of Work. “I see a clear shift from classic hierarchic employment structures, to more temporary and fluid employment relations.”
