ImpactBuilders is a public-benefit foundation that wants to build a grand Europe. It is organised in city chapters in Ghent, Milan, Tallinn, and Zürich. The foundation takes several business initiatives that are encapsulated into legal entities across Europe, each with a short-term profitability aim, and a clear self-reliance.
Public-benefit foundation

Towards a grand Europe
We envision a European economy that stands on solid industrial ground, supported by locally rooted businesses, and connected through trust-based networks. It is an economy where leadership is human-centered, businesses operate with fairness and depth, and innovation serves society rather than the other way around.

Founders with a vision
The three founders, Jan Lagast, Steven Storms, and Kristel Uibo, shared a dream to create a foundation, organise its international networking, and build a grand Europe through a variety of individual business initiatives.
They are working for a true purpose, which is at the core of all our endeavours.

In European cities
ImpactBuilders City Chapters are active across Europe. We are currently running city chapters in Ghent and Tallinn, and are establishing new chapters in Milano, and Zurich. Each chapter connects local leaders with peers across borders, creating a trusted European network that supports collaboration, investment, and sustainable growth.
Foundation financials

Profit center concept
Every new legal entity and every new division within the universe of ImpactBuilders has to become profitable within a few years. We decentralise the financial responsibilities towards every unit, and every unit needs to be self-reliant.

Cash donations
The capital of the foundation was formed via donations from the founders. In order to increase the potential impact on Europe, the initial capital is now going to be expanded via a global philanthropic fundraising campaign.

Land donations
ImpactBuilders wants a greener and healthier Europe. We want to increase the surface of European forests, and better integrate a healthy food chain with a flourishing nature. Land donations help achieve this goal.
Impacting Europe
ImpactBuilders Foundation is set up as an MTÜ (NGO) in Estonia. The foundation is active across Europe. It is now setting up city chapters in Ghent, Milan, Tallinn, Zürich. Many other cities will follow. Each of the city chapters has its own board and voluntary team. They run the First Tuesday international business networking event series, and are the regional hub for the marketplace.
The foundation also takes real business initiatives for which it creates separate legal entities. Each legal entity has its own management board and mission statement. On top of that, every legal entity has the obligation to strive for a concrete aspect of the dream to build a grand Europe. The foundation and its legal enitities form an ecosystem that together strives for a grand Europe.
