First Tuesday Tallinn enters its second season this autumn, with a renewed format for one of its most distinctive features: the Diplomatic Focus Room.
In the first season, this room provided ambassadors and consuls with a dedicated meeting place — a quiet and trusted space within the larger First Tuesday environment. Building on its success and the feedback of our diplomatic guests, the second season takes the concept further.
Now, each Diplomatic Focus Room is connected to the Industry of the Month. This creates a clear link between the diplomatic community and the international business leaders present at each event. Diplomats can still use the space to meet and exchange with peers, but they will also gain structured opportunities to explore sector-specific challenges and perspectives.
Why it matters

For diplomats, engaging directly with industry provides valuable insights into the real economic dynamics shaping their missions — from sector-specific opportunities to the challenges that cross borders. Each focus room will be personally hosted by Alistair Starling, ensuring that members of the diplomatic community are welcomed, guided, and connected to the most relevant international business leaders at the event. His role as diplomatic host guarantees that every conversation has the right introductions and context.

Each event runs from 16:00 to 20:00 at PRnews․io in Porto Franco, Tallinn. The evening begins with formal networking, continues with informal discussions over snacks and drinks, and concludes with in-depth exchanges in the focus rooms.
