Five years after the first ideas were sketched, the ImpactBuilders Universe is now ready for its cause to change how European businesses are designed and managed. We want businesses to thrive, to connect across Europe, and to bring joy to clients, collaborators, and everyone who is impacted by their activities.
The first ideas were sketched in November 2019, just 5 years ago. Time flies when having fun. In the Summer of 2023, we concluded the first round. That gave us the opportunity to start the Swiss legal entity of ImpactBuilders Financials AG, and start to experiment with various ideas. We attracted more than 150 ImpactEnthusiasts, got the support from the first ImpactAmbassadors, run a few events in Estonia and in Belgium, had a fast launch of the venture studio in Tallinn, … yes.
We kept the good ideas, and we were able to create a concise project out of it. Kristel Uibo joined our team, and that allowed us to be really embedded into the Estonian business community. Together, we raised the second round, which was completed this month. As the icing of the cake, we also created the legal entity of ImpactBuilders Foundation MTÜ, with three co-founders Kristel Uibo, Steven Storms, and Jan Lagast.
This public-benefit foundation aims to improve the business community itself.
We believe that positively impacting the economically active population, whether as clients or collaborators, can make millions feel more relevant and valued. This ripple effect has the power to transform European society for the better. It feels great to be able to be at the source of this ripple effect in the ImpactBuilders Foundation, and we are looking forward to creating a positive impact in Europe.
