4 Mar Networking Event – “How governments, business clubs, and chambers help a business be successful internationally?”

Business networking event for outward-looking companies in Estonia, and for international companies present in Tallinn.

  • Tuesday March 4, 2025
  • from 16h00 to 19h00
  • English language
  • Free entrance upon registration
  • Tallinn city, Estonia
  • Rävala Reval Café, II Floor

This month’s topic: “How governments, business clubs, and chambers help a business be more successful internationally?”

The main talks at this First Tuesday of the Month business networking event will be about the potential help one should or could get from the government to be successful. Diplomats, international chambers of commerce, export and investment agencies, international business clubs, … or even politicians in your and their country. Can they help? Or are you better and faster off, getting your business started in the new country without them?

We will answer questions such as “Who can help you understand a new country and get to know the most important people to start your business?” and “Who can help you become accepted and integrated within the business community?” and “Could or should you get help from politicians, diplomats, or other government officials”. We’ll explore these questions together through open conversations that inspire, inform, and challenge us to think bigger and lead better.

Special guests at the event

Three special guests will highlight a specific aspect of the topic of the month as a conversation starter for the business networking.

The Ambassador of Ukraine is going to indicate the current potential for doing business with Ukraine, and indicate which government bodies and other parties might help you to be successful in and with Ukraine.

Former diplomat Alistair Starling will explain and illustrate how businesses can use the authorities as a lever for growth, by co-innovating and opening doors that otherwise remain shut.

ImpactBuilders founder will explain how he has traveled across Europe on his own business discovery tour between 2012 and 2017 – to end up in Estonia as his country of preference. He did not use any politician, but did an explicit outreach to chambers of commerce, international trade associations, and universities to get a first understanding of each country.

The Estonian business future is international

The Estonian businesses that will be successful tomorrow, are the ones who are international – or who are at least thinking internationally today. For these companies, we created a specific business networking series for international business people to meet in Tallinn. Both for business leaders who want to reach out to other European countries, as for international business people who are doing business in Tallinn.

These networking events will be held each month on the first Tuesday of the month. Every time, we will tackle a different yet very concrete topic of doing business on an international level. Feel free to join this unique space that we are creating for leaders to connect, share struggles, and learn from each other in a relaxed setting.

Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with visionary business leaders, gain new perspectives, and take the first step toward impactful growth. Together, we’ll redefine what it means to lead in the new era of business.

Why You Should Attend:

  • Build Meaningful Connections: Meet like-minded leaders, who share a passion for purposeful business and global impact.
  • Learn and Share Lessons: Exchange ideas, experiences, and insights about international business and inspire one another to grow.
  • Step Away From the Digital Noise: Embrace the power of face-to-face human connection in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Who Is This Event For?
This event is designed for leaders with an entrepreneurial mindset, including:

  • Business owners and managers considering international expansion.
  • Professionals and innovators, who value collaboration over competition.
  • Experts and thought leaders ready to inspire and be inspired.
