Today’s leaders want to learn from other leaders

Today, seven ImpactBuilders were present as table masters on the CxO Leadership Forum in Living Tomorrow (Vilvoorde, Belgium). The CxO Leadership Forum gathers C-level managers of medium to large organisations in a setting that stimulates their co-creation.

Peer advisory is the new way of learning

No better teachers, than other leaders who are facing similar challenges. “Today’s leaders are looking for short and pragmatic experiences from colleagues, in order to face the challenges of tomorrow,” says organizer Dirk Vermant, founder of CxO Europe. “However, it is not that evident to make top leaders cooperate and co-create. That’s why we have a professional team in place, that helps stimulate the creative process.”

Master of Interaction Elke Van Hooreweghe “We split the entire group in tables of 4-5 leaders, and then use the so-called MasterMind methodology to create the right setting at each table.”

The ImpactBuilders table masters had a crucial role in this learning process. They were the stronghold at every table, and stimulated the peer-to-peer interaction between leaders.

And, Master of Interaction Joris Walraet ensured the strict timing was followed at each table. Which of course, is a challenge in itself, in such a creative boiling pot of a variety of leaders.
