In November, the recruiting experts M18 hosted an ImpactBuilders ideation session on the Future of Work. Several ImpactEnthusiasts from Flanders and Brussels joined us to find ways to improve the collaboration between large corporations and solopreneurs. Later this month, we continued the brainstorming session online with leaders and experts from Belgium, Italy, Hungary, and Estonia.
Large corporations are not becoming that fluid that easily
According to experts who are picturing the Future of Work, the walls of large corporations will become more and more fluid in the future. Collaborators will become solopreneurs. Freelancers and small firms will become key partners. In reality, it seems not that easy to open up the rigid walls of large corporations and connect them with a diversity of agile entrepreneurs who are eager to add value to their processes.
Brainstorming about the ‘why’

Both the brainstorm session at M18 and the online Miro session revealed a lot of blockers why the doors of large corporations stay closed for many solopreneurial top-experts. We also revealed many reasons why this could be changed to improve the cooperation between large corporations and freelancers.
From ‘why’ to ‘business’

The input from the brainstorms will be used as beautiful idea seeds in the think tanks for the ImpactBuilders Ventures investment firm. This investment firm is going to create ventures that will offer the missing services and the missing technology to introduce our business DNA in Europe.
Thank you, dear ImpactEnthusiasts for thinking along with us ! And, special thanks to Vivian Sajet for hosting our event in your Antwerp office.
